One of my customers described this brilliantly as capturing the best essence of many of the great classic scents without smelling like any particular one- a ghost of the past, a glamorous retro creature. A sexy and sophisticated "evening" type fragrance that echoes the great antique French perfumes, especially of the 1920's. It opens with bergamot and orange blossom, then deepens into a seductive blend of French narcissus, sandalwood, Russian leather, honey, civet and sweet powdery musk. Distinctive, and definitely not your Grandma's perfume! (Maybe your great-great-grandma's flapper perfume). Best with pearls. Try layering with Cool Violet, Rose Garden, Tea Blossom or Yasmeen.

This one manages to capture what the great vintage scents were all about, yet doesn't seem to be a replica of any of them. It's like a memory I can't quite pin down.
