Tullia D'Aragona was a woman quite ahead of her time! A wealthy, famous and very educated courtesan in Renaissance Venice, she was celebrated for her wit, charm and beauty as much as any film or music star today, and had a great influence in politics. An accomplished writer, poet, and philosopher, her works are still published today. Duels were fought over her, songs written about her, and various scandals kept her life interesting. We never hear about women like this in the history books! This fragrance is a rich and assertive tuberose, with a complex tapestry of orange blossom, Italian bergamot, night blooming jasmine, hyacinth, and exotic ylang-ylang, with sensual amber and vanilla, spicy opium notes and sweet patchouli, as smart and sexy as its namesake, as powerful and moving as an Italian opera. Try layering with May Dew, Kealani, Mermaid, Rose Garden, Tart, or Yasmeen. Also nice with Scarlett Letter (Olde Salem Collection) and Wicked Lisarah (Wicked Collection) $45 for .25 oz or $90 for .50 oz.
