BEST SELLER! Scarlett Letter is one of our iconic Salem MA inspired scents, named for Nathaniel Hawthorne's famous and controversial novel about Puritan Salem. The heroine, Hester Prynne, dares to fall in love and have a child out of wedlock, an unpardonable sin in those times, and is made to wear a scarlet letter "A" sewn to her dress for the rest of her life, marking her an adulteress. This soft jasmine fragrance is sensual but not too scandalous, with spicy pink carnation, Egyptian jasmine, white floral notes, clean musk and warm vanilla- slightly naughty but not too heavy, halfway between a floral and Oriental scent. This one can be quite changeable on different people- some bring up the spicy carnation, others the floral notes, others the sweet creamy vanilla. Try layering with May Dew, Mermaid, Patchouli Nirvana, Rose Garden, Sacred Sandalwood, Tea Blossom , Tullia's Flowers, Tunisian Opium or Witchfire. $30.00 for the .25 oz., and $60.00 for the .50 oz.

I tried several scents when in the store. The woman behind the counter was more than knowledgeable and assisted me with trying several scents before I selected the PERFECT one. I wear it everyday. Such a wonderful scent. Reminds me of a saucy spin on the "grace" perfumes. Thank you again!!

The Best!!

I visited Salem YEARS ago and got this oil. I ran out a long time ago and haven’t stopped thinking about it since! I just spent 3 hours trying to find this website so I could place an order! Can’t wait to be wearing this scent again. Truly an expert at her craft!

I’m OBSESSED

I am never ever buying fragrance from anyone else Akuura is truly talented! These scents stay all day long! I’ve even gone swimming and could smell it during and even after. Truly amazing fragrance oils. I absolutely love this one and cannot wait to try out more!

Miss

I don’t know what is in this perfume, normally I’m a YSL Libre or a Killian Love Don’t be shy girl, but this scent is better than any other that I have tried. I don’t know exactly what the scent notes are, but the blend is so perfect! I switch out all of my perfumes when I’m bored of them but Scarlett Letter is my absolute favorite perfume of all time. This perfume has haunted me since 2019 in the best way.
