A very unusual and hypnotic rose scent, recalling ancient dark goddess rituals, mysterious lost cities and exotic and exuberant temple dances (I'll bet Salome wore something in this vein). Arabian rose, precious frankincense, smoky juniper, agarwood (oud) notes and spicy vanilla- it dances back and forth all day between a mysterious rose incense and a smoky creme brulee, to the beat of drums and the swirl of deep red and purple tapestries. Try layering with Celestial Smoke, Fire of Isis, Oud Mystique, Witchfire or Yasmeen. $50 for .25 oz or $100 for .50 oz.

Vanilla rose

I used to mix a rose perfume oil called Damascus with a vanilla musk one to create a unique scent, but Rose of Babylon captures that blend perfectly on its own, possibly even better! It starts with a light yet deep Arabian rose, which I find to be more delicate than other rose scents. As it settles on my skin, a subtle smokiness begins to emerge. The longer I wear it, the more the vanilla starts to come out, I find it to be a very comforting scent. After about 5 hours, it leaves mostly a smoky vanilla scent on my skin. This is a fantastic scent to try if you like rose fragrances.
