A fragrance of enigma and revelation! Created with my good friend perfumer Neil Morris, this intriguing perfume takes you to an ancient library filled with whispered secrets, candlelit experiments and leather bound tomes. It opens with illuminating and spicy notes of citrus, bitter orange, and black pepper, then blooms into a subtle dark garden of gardenia, narcissus, incense smoke and other rare botanicals, settling later into a warm grounded base of smoky woods, frankincense, resins, patchouli and leather . This fragrance is constructed of many unusual and rare ingredients, and wears beautifully on both men and women. Exrait de Parfum is the strongest concentration of spray perfume.

Dark Academia Meets Master Perfumery

A collaborative triumph from two of my favorite perfumers, Arcane Knowldege evokes a sense of intellectual intensity and quiet, dusty grandeur. To me, It captures the specific feeling of being tucked away in a university archive as a thunderstorm approaches, where the only light comes from a guttering candle and the only sound is the turning of brittle, yellowed pages. I have the oil but I think I’d like to add the EDP for layering. Akuura and Neil have composed something at once dark and light; artistic and wearable. Bravo/Brava!

LOVE

"I get compliments every time I’ve worn it. My partner laughs and tells me to stop sniffing myself. ?? I love all the layers of the fragrance. When I first apply it I get a lot of citrus and the sharpness of black pepper. As the fragrance settles into my skin, I’m wrapped in a lovely warm blanket of incense, wood smoke, and frankincense. At the end, I have an aura of resin, leather, and some powdery florals. Arcane Knowledge is a joy to wear and experience!"
